Some Important Calendar Items!

As the year winds up (Can you believe it?!), there are several important items that should be on your calendar:

May 7th–May 11th  AP and STAAR Testing

May 14th/15th  AP Testing

May 15th  Academic Banquet @ Abilene Christian University

May 17th  Signing Day for Seniors @ 9am in the HPAC–Wear your college shirts!

May 18th  Senior Graduation Walk (Wear your cap and gown!) at CISD campuses followed by the Awards Ceremony at 9am in HPAC–Seniors will receive their graduation packets after the ceremony

May 25th  Graduation Practice @ 10am at the Civic Center; Graduation at 7:00pm

Work Ethic Scholarship Program

Calling all plumbers, carpenters, electricians, welders, auto-technicians, and anyone getting trained for skilled jobs that are in demand!

For the fifth year in a row, the Work Ethic Scholarship Program will give away a free pile of money to those who demonstrate strong work ethic and a thirst for skilled training.

The program launches on Monday, April 2, 2018, and the deadline to submit applications is Monday, June 4, 2018.  Click HERE for more information about this scholarship.

Hendrick Medical Center Junior Volunteer Program

Applications are now being accepted for the Junior Volunteer Program at Hendrick Medical Center.  You must be 14 by August 31, 2018, to apply.  Orientation will be June 11, 2018 and applications must be received by May 25, 2018, to allow time for personal interviews.  The volunteer hours in this program are recorded and can be used on job applications, college enrollment applications and toward hours required for school activities such as National Honor Society and individual classes.  If you have any questions, please call Volunteer Services at Hendrick Medical Center 325-670-2317.  Applications may be found HERE.
