Inaugural Gallery exhibit

Clyde CISD administrators have created a visual arts gallery in the district’s Board Room which will display students artworks and projects.  The honor of displaying work in the inaugural show goes to Clyde High School’s Upper Level Art Students who’ve spent the first six weeks of 2014-15 working with all kinds of drawing media. Attend the meeting Monday, Oct. 20th to view these impressive drawings.

Visual Arts Scholastic Event

All four of the CHS competitors received the highest rating of IV on their entries in the regional VASE contest. Their artwork advanced to the Area level and is being exhibited during February, 2011, at the Cockerell Galleries in Abilene. The winning artists are Allison Britten, Asjana Bell, Kaitlynn Robinson and Sandra McCormick.

Mrs. Watkins’ Art Class

Clyde CISD supports the visual arts from elementary through High School.  Our student artists are involved in creative classroom activities as well as competitive exhibitions and solo shows.  We are proud of the new Naomi Huff Performing Arts Center and gallery on the campus of Clyde High School.  Our students go on to excel in arts-related careers and lifelong learning.
